A Vape Tank Battle: Disposable versus Rebuildable Vape Tanks   no comments

Posted at 5:00 am in Uncategorized

When it comes to using a vape
tank, there are various options available for most vapers out
there to use. A primary question that arises is whether to use a disposable or
a rebuildable one, and what this even entails. We are going to explore disposable
clearomizers, rebuildable dripping atomizers (RDAs), and rebuildable tank
atomizers (RTAs). We’ll look at what they are, how they work, and the pros and
cons of each.

* What
are disposable and rebuildable tanks? *

Clearomizers: These tanks are very popular
nowadays. They are cylindrical in shape and the tank itself usually either
contains clear Polycarbonate plastic or a Pyrex glass tank. Through the tank,
you can see the level of <a href="”>liquid inside of the clearomizer. Their usage is
simple: the user fills it with <a href="”>liquid and subsequently can vape directly. Newer
clearomizers allow for sub-ohm vaping.

Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (RDA): Allows for
sub-ohm vaping. Is a user-constructed setup with wicks and coils, in which
<a href="”>liquid is dripped directly onto the coils then vaporized.

Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (RTA): Something of a
hybrid between an RDA and a clearomizer, an RTA is a tank that the user can
build coils on.

* How
each works *

Clearomizers: The user adds <a href="”>liquid to the tank and can directly
vape once a coil is added.
Dripping Atomizer (RDA):
The user
buys wire and cotton and uses them to create the surface upon which the
<a href="<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>e-<a href="”>liquid is dripped.
Tank Atomizer (RTA):
The user builds
the coils using wire and cotton, and this is placed on the tank. The tank
itself holds <a href="”>liquid in amounts comparable to clearomizers.

* Pros of
Each *

Clearomizer: A clearomizer is the easiest to use of the above tank
setups. Overall, they require very little vape knowledge. They can hold a
considerable amount of <a href="”>liquid.

Dripping Atomizer (RDA):
This setup
easily offers the largest vapor production of all three setups discussed here.
In addition, it allows for richness of flavor. The user can switch between
flavors during a session without the taste of the last flavor lingering.

Tank Atomizer (RTA):
This setup
offers very solid vapor production and flavor. Because of the presence of the
tank, it is able to hold a lot of <a href="<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice, much like a clearomizer can.

* Cons of
Each *

Clearomizer: Easily the priciest of the three setups discussed
here, especially since it does not allow for longevity.

Dripping Atomizer (RDA):
Does not
have as much <a href="<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice capacity as the other setups. In addition, this requires a
fair amount of vaping experience and knowledge, since wicking is required.

Tank Atomizer (RTA):
vapor production
and flavor not as good as an RDA. Similarly, to an RDA, requires a solid
knowledge basis in vaping in order to be able to use.

We’ve seen what disposable and rebuildable vape
tanks are. The disposable option, the clearomizer, was seen to be a solid
choice for novice vapers and for convenience and <a href="”>liquid storage. This however,
comes with a price tag. The rebuildable options, the rebuildable tank atomizer
(RTA) and the Rebuildable Dripping (RDA), were both seen to be less pricey
options than a clearomizer. Both also required extensive vaping knowledge to be
able to use. The RDA was seen to be the more solid in terms of vapor and flavor
but the RTA was better in terms of vapor storage and convenience.

Vaping Battery Choices and You   no comments

Posted at 5:00 am in Uncategorized

Vaping is a satisfying alternative to traditional cigarettes and its popularity constantly grows. Like all new technologies though, battery life can make or break your entire vaping experience.

The range of battery life in available devices today are what you might imagine: from charges that last a few draws to those that can give you an entire day of constant vaping! Similar to cell phones batteries, these types follow the traditional rule of “the bigger the better.” You may see smaller e-cigarette style batteries which typically don’t offer as much battery life and flexibility as say for instance MODs, which can be up to the size of a cell phone. There are batteries that are somewhere in between those too, commonly called “pens”, because that is about the size they are.

With regular use, an e-cig-sized battery can last a few hours and requires rotating with other spare batteries to ensure availability. This doesn’t go into the topic of refillable tanks or “cartomizers”, but with this size vaping unit, you will likely be refilling on a regular a basis (or more!) as you are switching out your battery.

Pens typically last up to half-a-day with regular usage and usually have a tank attachment that you <a href="http://<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>fill with your preferred e-<a href="<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice. Charging these is typically done with a micro USB cable that can be either attached to a PC or to an outlet.

The option that offers the most flexibility in regards to length of available time to vape are usually in MODs, which are larger (usually still pocket sized) batteries with options to control temperature, power output and airflow options. Because of these factors, you are able to have extended battery life for the most part. (NOTE: If you are sub-ohm vaping, you’ll need to have the right MOD for it, and the proper battery that can handle this style. This is because you would be vaping below 1ohm.)

Each of the battery options available to the vaping community can fill the needs of casual vapers, hobbyists and “hard-core” users alike. It is worth investing time to research and shop for the battery that is right for your vaping needs here at Vapin’ in the Cape.

4 Ways to Keep a Fellow Vaper on The Right Vaping Path   no comments

Posted at 5:00 am in Uncategorized

Hobbies are always more fun when you
have people to share them with, and vaping is no different. The community
vapers have built is amazing, full of kind and knowledgeable people everywhere,
and it’s always exciting to see it grow. When you meet a new vaper you have a
chance to help add them to that community, and here are four ways that you
should go about it:

Engage them in conversation about vaping. Everyone loves connecting
with others about a hobby, it’s one of the primary ways people make friends! Of
course, it’s important to be mindful of people who don’t want to be approached,
I don’t advise asking people to take their headphones off so you can ask them
about their MOD, but when you see someone blow a cloud who looks like they have
a minute to spare, ask what their setup is like. When you ask about their device
or where they like to buy their e-<a href="<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice (hopefully from Vapin’ in the Cape) or
anything vape related, and you both enjoy the conversation, which just adds
another positive memory for them to associate with it.

Let them taste the flavor(s) you have at hand. Variety is the spice
of life, a phrase as true today as it was when it was first penned in 1785.
It’s common for people to pick a few flavors they like and rotate between them,
I’m certainly guilty of it myself sometimes, but with a new flavor comes a
whole new experience. Every time I taste a new flavor I imagine the
possibilities of what else could be delicious, I think of the better <a href="<a href="”>liquid_c_7.html”>juices
I’ve tasted already, and I get excited about the whole range of flavors
available. More than once tasting a new flavor has prompted me to add something
new to my collection. How about you?

Offer advice on things that they may not know. A lot of people are
sold nice equipment with features that they aren’t exactly sure how to take
advantage of as new vapers or vapers entering a different aspect of vaping.
It’s easy to take a few seconds to clarify what effect adjusting your wattage
can have or what the difference between differently rated atomizers can be; but
in that moment you’re the representative of what will be seen as a friendly and
welcoming community!

Be friendly and genuinely interested! Perhaps the most important
point on the list. Common advice, to be sure; but important all the same. The
real goal is shared enjoyment of a hobby, and there’s no surer way to go about
that than to be exposed to a new friend on the way. The same way that smokers
get to know each other outside of bars, restaurants, and offices across the
world, our love of vaping is a bit of commonality between us all and that’s one
of the greatest things about it.

Ultimately, the best way to help ensure a fellow vaper stays the course and
keeps fighting the good fight is to help them make their experience a positive
one. By sharing information, fostering new experiences, and providing a good
social experience you don’t only help keep others on the path, you’re reminded
why you love it so much yourself.
